Trail Recipes Announces Upcoming Release of their Trail Chef App Dedicated to Backpackers On The Go
Riga, Latvia-09 January 2015. Trail Recipes announces release of their Trail Chef App that will be available for the iOS platform in the Apple App Store on January, 14. Minimum requirements would be an iPhone4 with at least iOS 7 but the app is generally optimized to work best with an iPhone 5 generation of mobile phones.
About the New Trail Chef App
Trail Recipes has been known as the go-to website for recipes and meal plans for backpackers, especially hikers, mountain climbers and the like thus the word ‘trail’. Now the brilliant team behind the website’s success is ready to rollout another service close to their heart and can even bring their fans and loyalists closer to their services.
The Trail Chef App, initially available on Apple’s iOS format, will not just offer backpacking menu planner but also Trail Recipe’s ever prominent recipe catalogue.
“Much like our passion in always moving forward full of energy and fun on our travels along the trail, this app is made to be your best travel companion no matter where you are located in the world. It is specifically designed to still be of use even without an internet connection which is a scarcity when you’re on the trail therefore you can make use of its great features on the go without any restraints of mobile data usage,” says Tanya Krezevska, website founder and owner.
The app is very useful to plan meals that are still nutritious even if prepared in less time. It also contains access to Trail Recipes proven and trail-tested recipe catalog, 50+ of them and easy to follow even for home cooking.
Nutritional information is also included for each recipe, a backpacking menu planning tool plus special recipe categories from lightweight to vegetarian and one pot meals. Default servings is always set to 1 but the app can accommodate serving number changes made so it automatically udpates required number of raw ingredients to serve that much people. Best part of it is that it is accompanied by photos and users can have the ability to add their own recipes then combine them seamlessly with the built=in recipes already loaded on the app.
Trail-hikers and backpackers can easily see menu plan summary, adjust number of days and meals needed and plan meals by physical activity required for that day for better energy replenishment.
